Hatha Practice 4-13-21

We began this practice with a moment of reflection for Daunte Wright. Since this practice, we also need to hold Adam Toledo, Jaida Peterson, and Remmy Fennell in our hearts. I end each of our practices by reciting, “may all beings be happy and free. And may my thoughts, words, and actions contribute to the freedom and happiness of all beings, everywhere.” Which is a rough English translation of the sacred Sanskrit mantra “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.” This week, we are reminded that we all need to our part to end systemic racism broadly, and police violence against Black people.
